Detroit, Michigan – Nissan has debuted the Pathfinder Concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, a preview of the all-new, next-generation Pathfinder that will go on sale in the fall of 2012.
The fourth-generation Pathfinder brings a new look and packaging, with a hint of a design language that will carry through future Nissan models. The Pathfinder Concept also features three-row flexibility and room for seven passengers.
The Pathfinder uses a V6 engine and next-generation continuously variable transmission (CVT) with an expected 25 per cent increase in combined city/highway fuel economy over the previous V6-equipped model. It will also have an intuitive four-wheel drive system and towing capacity competitive with the segment leaders.
