Mississauga, Ontario – Nissan Canada has extended the warranty coverage for the continuously variable transmission (CVT) on 2003 through 2010 models.
The warranty for the CVT has been doubled, from five years or 100,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) to ten years or 200,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first).
Canadian customers who have already paid for an out-of-warranty repair that would have been covered by this warranty extension will be reimbursed. Customers should contact their authorized Nissan dealer to request a reimbursement.
