Spy shots of Cruze completely undisguised give best view yet of next-generation car

One enterprising spy photographer has captured the next generation Chevrolet Cruze before being shown to the public for the first time at Auto China 2014 next month.

While the vehicle seen in the photo above is a Chinese-spec Cruze, you can bet almost all the exterior changes will be making it to our shores as well. The fascia features a more rounded appearance and could almost be the middle-child stuck between a Ford Focus and Toyota Corolla if you squint enough.

In China, the Cruze will get a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine to skirt its way around certain road taxes. However, we will more than likely see the continuation of the 1.4-litre turbocharged mill and 2.0-litre turbo diesel, as well as the base 1.8-litre four-cylinder gas engine.

Next generation models look to receive LED daytime running lights above the fog lights, updated interior with storage cubby behind the centre mounted touchscreen, and a refreshed rear fascia.
