The 34-year-old rap star said the Flex caught his eye last July when he saw it at a Ford-sponsored event in Atlanta.
Nelly collaborated with hip hop DJ Funkmaster Flex, who has a customized Flex of his own, and with Ford designer Melvin Betancourt. The customized Flex includes custom blue paint with a white roof, 22-inch wheels, specialty exhaust, and personalized interior.
Along with several customized Ford Flex vehicles, Ford is also highlighting three Lincoln MKS project vehicles, customized Ford Ford coupes, a customized Lincoln MKX, Ford Escape Hybrid, Ford Edge, and the upcoming Ford Transit Connect delivery vehicle.
