2010 Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography
Montreal, Quebec – Land Rover has presented the Canadian debut of the Range Rover Autobiography and Range Rover Sport Autobiography Limited Edition at the Montreal International Auto Show.
For 2010, Land Rover’s flagship Range Rover offers a new supercharged LR-V8 engine, revolutionary interior technologies and enhanced driving dynamics. Now, a series of further refinements make their Canadian debut at the show, with the focus on enhanced luxury for rear-seat passengers.
Land Rover is introducing electronically-controlled reclining rear seats, which will be especially valued by chauffeur-driven customers. The seats can be independently controlled by the left and right seat passengers; heated and cooled seats, four-way adjustable lumbar support, and airline-style winged head restraints are available. When the front passenger seat is unoccupied, rear-seat passengers can remotely move it to its forward-most position for increased leg room. Interior noise levels are reduced by the addition of laminated rear door privacy glass.
The Autobiography series also adds four new interior colour combinations, and the availability of a Logic 7 1,200-watt Harman Kardon High Dynamics audio system with 19 speakers and 15 independent channels.
The Range Rover Sport lineup will feature a new Autobiography Package available in the 510-horsepower Supercharged edition for 2010, including new two-tone leather, rear entertainment system, adaptive cruise control, rear differential lock, mesh grille, and special 20-inch wheels.
