Los Angeles, California – The Los Angeles Auto show will open to the public from December 4 to 13, 2009, and will host more than 30 significant world and North American debuts, and feature more than 900 vehicles.
See Autos’s LA Auto Show section for coverage of a number of world premieres, including the all-new 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder, the redesigned 2011 Toyota Sienna minivan, and Honda’s Personal-Neo Urban Transport (P-NUT) concept car – as well as the North American debuts of the Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet Cruze, Mazda3, and all-new Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sorento.
The show will also feature more than 50 new “green” vehicles, including hybrids, clean diesel, electric, hydrogen fuel cell, natural gas and ethanol-powered vehicles, including the Chevrolet Volt, Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid, Audi A3 TDI and Volkswagen Golf TDI. Future concept vehicles will include the Toyota Prius plug-in hybrid, Mitsubishi PX-MiEV plug-in SUV, and Audi’s all-electric, R8-based e-Tron.
