Mississauga, Ontario – Kia Canada is partnering with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Canada to launch the I Pledge school program.
As the new national presenting sponsor of the 2011-2012 School Assembly Program, Kia is donating the use of eight vehicles to MADD Canada, including four 2012 Soul vehicles, for use by field representatives who will use them to travel to schools to deliver the anti-drinking-and-driving message. Additionally, four 2012 Kia Sedona minivans will be used by chapters across the country to promote local awareness. All vehicles will be customized with MADD Canada’s logo and anti-impaired messages, including the I Pledge special finish, which will allow students to sign the vehicle as a commitment.
Kia has also created a Facebook Page to encourage all Canadians to “Take the Pledge” not to drink and drive, and to make the pledge available to family and friends.
