2011 Jaguar XJ
Montreal, Quebec – Jaguar Canada has presented its full 2011 model-year lineup at the Montreal Auto Show, including the XJ, XF and XK models.
The flagship XJ sedan is all-new for 2011 and blends the sleek lines of Jaguar’s new design language with the brand’s latest generation of engines and chassis systems. Six XJ model variants include standard and long-wheelbase versions. The range-topping XJ Supersport and XJL Supersport are available by special order only.
The XK is available in coupe or convertible body styles and with a 5.0-litre naturally-aspirated V8 or 510-horsepower supercharged engine. Available this year, to commemorate Jaguar’s 75th anniversary, is the XKR175 75th Anniversary Coupe. Production will be limited to 175 units for the U.S. market and additional 15 cars for Canada. All are painted Ultimate Black and include 20-inch Kasuga alloy wheels, aerodynamic enhancements, special interior trim, and a top governed speed of 280 km/h, compared to 250 km/h for the standard XKR coupe.
The XF sport sedan enters its third model year with the 5.0-litre direct-injection V8, already standard on the XF Premium model, used in place of the 4.2-litre V8 in the base XF model. The entry-level Jaguar now offers 385 horsepower rather than 300, and 380 lb-ft of torque in place of the previous 310. The 2011 Jaguar XF is the only car in its segment to offer an all-V8 engine lineup.
