Double win for Nissan’s luxury brand with Best New Innovation and Safety Technology awards

Yesterday, at the Montreal Auto Show, Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) announced Infiniti were the winners of two technology awards.

For 2014, AJAC split the single award into two categories – Best New Safety Technology and Best New Innovation Technology – showcasing the difference between technologies that improve comfort or save lives.

This year, Infiniti swept both awards. The company’s Direct Adaptive Steering technology took home honours in the Innovation category while their Predictive Forward Collision Warning technology took home the safety award.

AJAC will announce finalists for Canadian Car and Utility Vehicle of the year on January 24th.
