Mississauga, Ontario – Infiniti Canada has released pricing for its all-new Infiniti M performance luxury sedan, which will go on sale later this month.
Thanks to more powerful but fuel-efficient engines, the new models are now designated the M37 and M56. Both are available in rear- or all-wheel drive.
The 3.7-litre M37 model starts at $52,400, while the 5.6-litre M56 starts at $66,200. The models are respectively $3,100 and $3,350 less than the equivalent M35x and M45 models in 2010.
The all-wheel drive M37x starts at $54,900, while the M56x starts at $68,700.
The new M features new content, including all-new exterior design, seven-speed automatic transmission, power-folding mirrors, active noise control, rearview monitor and enhanced intelligent key memory. Compared with the 2010 models, the 2011 M also boasts fuel efficiency gains of up to 1.7 L/100 km.
“The all-new 2011 Infiniti M’s powertrains offer both increased power and efficiency,” said Wendy Durward, director of Infiniti Canada. “Our V6 power is up nine per cent to 330 horsepower, while V8 power is up almost 30 per cent to 420 horsepower, and torque is increased 24 per cent to 417 lb-ft – while amazingly taking off 1.7 L/100 km highway for the M56x, and 0.8 L/100 km highway for the all-wheel drive M37x.”
