New York, New York – Honda has presented its entire 2012 Civic lineup at the New York International Auto Show. The display includes the Civic Sedan and Coupe, high-performance Civic Si Coupe, Civic Hybrid, Civic Natural Gas and the Civic HF, an all-new, high-fuel-economy model.
“The all-new Civic builds on the popularity of the previous generation with a complete technology makeover (and) higher level of refinement and style while improving its position as an excellent value,” said John Mendel, executive vice-president of sales for American Honda Motor Company. “The Civic offers the most diverse model lineup in the industry to best meet the needs and preferences of individual customers.”
For 2012, all Civic models achieve higher U.S. fuel economy ratings when compared to the 2011 models. The Civic Hybrid also introduces the latest generation of the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system, with the first use of a lithium-ion battery in a Honda hybrid vehicle.
New technologies available on Civic include a five-inch LCD “intelligent” multi-information display and Eco Assist technology, which encourages drivers to use more fuel-efficient driving styles.
The 2012 Honda Civic is now on sale, with Canadian pricing ranging from $14,990 to $25,990.
