Los Angeles, California – The Honda Civic Natural Gas has been named the Green Car Journal 2012 Green Car of the Year at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The all-new 2012 Civic Natural Gas is the fifth generation of the model and the only assembly-line produced natural gas passenger model manufactured for sale in the U.S. It is also the cleanest-running internal combustion vehicle certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The model was initially introduced for fleets in 1998 and is now available to the public in select U.S. markets.
