Detroit, Michigan - Since the Koenigsegg Group AB withdrew its offer to buy Swedish automaker Saab, GM’s Board of Directors has received some “expressions of interest in Saab” which they will evaluate between now and the end of December, stated a company news release today. “At that time, we will determine whether a suitable arrangement for Saab exists. If not, we will begin an orderly wind down of the global Saab business at that time.”
The company said it will not confirm or comment on any potential transactions or other matters unless, and until, they determine that disclosure is appropriate.
