Tampa, Florida – Ferrari has opened a new dealership in Tampa Bay, Florida, the first in North America to carry Ferrari cars only.
The new dealership, Ferrari of Tampa Bay, is the result of a US$9 million invesment and is part of a larger investment the company has been undertaking in Florida. In recent months, the company has also restructured its dealerships in Orlando and Miami, is about to complete a multi-million-dollar renovation of its Fort Lauderdale store, and will open a brand new dealership in West Palm Beach by the end of the year.
Florida is the third-largest market for Ferrari in North America, accounting for more than 12 per cent of its sales in 2008. The company has 36 dealerships in the U.S., four in Canada, and nine in Central and South America.
