Newly-formed Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will establish global HQ in London

After much speculation regarding where the now-combined company of Fiat and Chrysler would make its home, the decision is now official.

England, you have a new automaker.

While FCA will never be confused with any truly British marque, it was decided to establish a new global headquarters in London mainly for tax and political stability reasons.

The new Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. is registered in the Netherlands but will base operations in the UK. However, the company will still have sizeable operations remaining in Auburn Hills, MI and Turin, Italy.
