Detroit, Michigan – Chevrolet has announced that its all-new entry in the compact segment market will be called the Cruze. The new model will make its global debut at the Paris Motor Show in early October.

Developed by a global design and engineering team, the Cruze will be built in multiple locations worldwide. It will be approximately 4.6 metres long and offer interior space and cargo capacity for five passengers.

The new Cruze will be available in European markets in the spring of 2009, followed by other global regions.
