Digital concept is the BMW M2 race car of your dreams

BMW isn’t the first automaker to show off a digital concept using the Gran Turismo series, and it surely won’t be the last. But, the BMW Vision Gran Turismo concept is a bit closer to reality than most.

If BMW were to built the much-anticipated M2 then turn it into a race car, you would essentially get what you see here.

The car is said to be powered by a 549 hp 3.0-litre straight six BMW’s M TwinPower turbocharging with all motivation sent to the rear wheels. It’s also said to have 50:50 weight distribution and only weigh 1,180 kg.

Or at least those are the specs in digital form. You can race the car now in Gran Turismo 6.
