Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON – and won two coveted categories last night during the annual Automobile Journalist Association of Canada’s (AJAC) annual awards banquet.

Winning the 2012 Nissan Design and Print Layout Award was the annual Buyer’s Guide print magazine.  This annual publication is sold across the country and features specs and details on every new passenger vehicle sold in Canada as well as in depth articles on the latest vehicles available to Canadian consumers.  This award is presented to the best print publication produced in Canada based on both visual appeal and ease of use to consumers.  Accepting the award was the Senior Editor of the magazine in 2012, Jonathan Yarkony.

As well, Paul Williams, Associate Editor at, won the 2012 Volvo Environmental Journalism Award for his article “Feature: Hybrids at the crossroads – new fuel-efficient options for car buyers”.  This award is presented to the best in Canadian Automotive Journalism as it pertains to environmental issues.
