New MQB-based sports car will get a healthy bump in power

Thanks to swiss cheese-eating journos and blogs, the Geneva reveals are leaking through the holes. The second leak of the day comes to us thanks to the folks at Motoramic: the new Audi TT.

The new TT will join the new Golf as one of the first VAG models to be built on the modular MQB platform. However, the sports car still retains its swoopy roof and LED lighting. It’s also expected to get a healthy bump in output thanks to a newer 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder producing 296 hp, an increase of 30 ponies.

More details will be posted as they become available at the Geneva International Auto Show this week.
