Chicago, Illinois – Acura has debuted an all-new V6 model for its TSX sports sedan lineup at the Chicago Auto Show. Scheduled to go on sale this summer, the 2010 TSX V6 will be equipped with a 3.5-litre engine, exclusive suspension tuning, larger-diameter wheels and additional enhancements.
As the entry point to the Acura brand in the U.S., the four-cylinder TSX has become one of the company’s best-selling sedans. The company said the new model will fill a niche between the four-cylinder TSX and all-new TL performance luxury sedan, and will be aimed at youthful buyers who want a performance-oriented sports sedan in a more personal size.
The 280-horsepower, 3.5-litre V6 will be coupled to Acura’s Sequential SportShift automatic transmission, with F1-style, wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The model will also use exclusive suspension tuning and 18-inch split five-spoke aluminum wheels with Michelin Pilot all-season tires.
