New hatchback will undercut Nissan Versa Note by a full $3,350

When the new Nissan Micra goes on sale in Canada, it will be the most affordable new car money can buy. With a starting price of $9,998, it is $3,350 lower than the Nissan Versa Note and $2,500 less than a Mitsubishi Mirage.

Those buying the Micra will also have access to a parts interchangeability program very similar to that used by the Scion brand.

Nissan’s newest vehicle – sold in Canada but not in the US – will go on sale this spring.
