Last weekend my wife and I went to visit friend's at their travel trailer. They have a seasonal setup with an attached deck at one of the better parks in the area. Anyway, as we were inside getting the tour we hear this commotion going on outside, so we go out to see what's up and see this huge Prevost based motor home that had buckled its huge matching trailer trying to negotiate a turn while backing up. The trailer looked ok, but the entire back end of the home was buckled in and looked pretty bad. The entire package looked brand new as well and very expensive! The trailer was almost as big as the home and painted to match the home so it was quite an impressive package.
After the initial commotion had died down we could hear all this banging coming from inside the back of the home as the guy was obviously trying to knock the dent out of the back end.
The craziest thing is that it is designed as a drive thru park to avoid that type of thing, so not sure what the guy was thinking. The owner was not very old either; early 40s is my guess, so I suspect he was a newbie.
As a side note, camping has sure come a long was from my wilderness adventure days. The unit we were in had a 50" tv, fully appointed kitchen, full size propane fireplace, etc, and we were in one of the more moderately sized units there!
