Well, more like heard on the weekend...Dasilva Racing, a shop that specializes in Mustangs, had their annual charity day for Sick Kids yesterday.  I decided to drop by with the family and I was blown away by the dyno runs.  I've never seen (or heard) one before in person and I was lucky enough to catch a stock GT350 (460 rwhp) and a modded GT500 (700 rwhp) run.  Being 10 feet away as these two cars screamed WFO was amazing.  There was a Hellcat lined up proclaiming "909+", but I didn't get a chance to see that one run.

A policewoman wothy of policewomen we see on TV shows...  With handcuffs... She was in line in front of us for an ice-cream cone and was embarrassed when told she was eligible to a 10% discount for being in uniform (despite the province-wide trend of cops wearing camo pants to protest benefit cuts).

Spotted at a local Mazda dealer.  This could be fun.

2008 Ford Crown Victoria LX with the Police Interceptor package.

Looks too nice to have served on the street - detective's, or clever order back in '08? Never seen one with these alloys either!

Back in Fredericton, I had a silver Crown Vic rental with the same package. It was some kind of upgrade over the regular Interceptor. The owner's manual was still in plastic in the glovebox, and it had hardly any kms on it. I think it had the silver grill, but don't really remember.

It was a bit of a pain. Anyone I caught up to slowed to the speed limit. People who caught up to me wouldn't pass, and eventually, I'd pull over to let a line of cars by.

Thats just an LX with the handling package I believe it was called. It was like the P71 Police Package (cop tires, cop motor, cop shocks....) you could buy from the dealer.

The CV went fleet only for 2008 and some of the packages (including the handling package) were discontinued. This looks like a P71 with the "street appearance package".

You may be right....might be an "minding my own business, not a cop car, nothing to see here" undercover package or something.

Yes, civilians could order this package.  It also came with dual exhaust and some extra hp, if I remember correctly.

They're fun to drive. I've never owned a Cr Vic but had a white 9C1 Caprice many moons ago (back when cops still used them) I felt like Moses parting the water on the highway lol, I could cruise at 110 on the money on the QE2 and nobody would pass. It was kind of annoying like Sir o said. 4 way stops were a good time, people would always want me to go first, even if they were at the stop before me lol.

At the auction a while back was a nice white 08 Cr Vic with mags, dual exhaust, and full tint. That car looked pretty neat in its own way.

Original FIAT 500 in red, and a Lancia Appia, same colour as the one in the pic, but decorated for a wedding.

Crossed at T-intersection, an AMC Pacer copper/bronze color, bright chrome/shined tires, show car condition, I was amazed !!

I did not have a chance to grab a picture but last time I saw a Pacer on the road was decades ago...

Last weekend my wife and I went to visit friend's at their travel trailer.  They have a seasonal setup with an attached deck at one of the better parks in the area.  Anyway, as we were inside getting the tour we hear this commotion going on outside, so we go out to see what's up and see this huge Prevost based motor home that had buckled its huge matching trailer trying to negotiate a turn while backing up.  The trailer looked ok, but the entire back end of the home was buckled in and looked pretty bad.  The entire package looked brand new as well and very expensive! The trailer was almost as big as the home and painted to match the home so it was quite an impressive package.

After the initial commotion had died down we could hear all this banging coming from inside the back of the home as the guy was obviously trying to knock the dent out of the back end.  The craziest thing is that it is designed as a drive thru park to avoid that type of thing, so not sure what the guy was thinking.  The owner was not very old either; early 40s is my guess, so I suspect he was a newbie.

As a side note, camping has sure come a long was from my wilderness adventure days. The unit we were in had a 50" tv, fully appointed kitchen, full size propane fireplace, etc, and we were in one of the more moderately sized units there!

Not related to a car but saw this weekend:

A baby, wearing only a diaper, riding his/her little tricycle in the middle of (a residential low speed) street, without any parent/adult in line of sight...
