Just got in a Garmin VIRB action camera, on sale for $119.00 at Costco.ca

This basic model of the VIRB was discontinued but gets good reviews:

My wife and I decided we are going to have our first ever yard/garage sale this spring to get rid of stuff that we've accumulated over the years and is starting to pile up. #toomuchstuff

^Ive had one for a couple years, not this exact model, wouldn't be without it. I mounted it permanently to our lower level deck. Have to be careful in strong winds though.

Good quality? There was one at HD for 350 but reviews were awful. Can't find reviews on the Costco one.. But it is Costco.

I assume its easy to retract for those windy days.

Looking for something similar that I can swing between the deck and over the hot tub. Must to be able to retract and collapse tho.

Quality is ok, about what you'd expect for $3-400. Ours is from Home Depot. Have to check fasteners every once in a while as they loosen on their own. It rotates and you can change the angle of the umbrella from flat to upright to better block the sun. It retracts easily. We leave ours retracted and only extend it when we are using it.
