Ottawa meet up

Well, ain't nothing gonna happen without a catalyst.

I may not be the best scheduler, but let's see if anyone's available at the same time.

I propose Tuesday August 30 at 6pm.

Anywhere on Sparks, or Mill Street, or I suppose I could be not downtown but it'd have to be a bit later then.

Anyone in?

I might be able to swing it. I stopped by D'Arcy McGee's today after work for a couple pints, I should've let you know. But my work day ends at 3:30, ha, ha, ha!

Not downtown, Kanata. Happens every Tuesday, but Aug 30th is "British Invasion Night" so I'll have the TR6 there. There's a Don Cherry's / Jack Astor type place at the mall and we often head to the Cheshire Cat or ABC (UK style "country pubs") afterwards.

Well, I got the week off and the weather forecast looks good for tomorrow. Is everyone still planning to meet up at the Hazeldean cruise-in?

Is 5:30 the usual start time for the cruise night?  I can be there then too, but will need to split before sundown as I'll have a longish drive home from Kanata.

I'm a solid maybe.  I was a solid yes, but then our race car broke and the race is saturday.

I'll try to stop by.  5:30 seems early, does it really start that early?  I don't think cars roll in until around 6 and they stay until 8-9 depending on weather and time of year.

Yes, weather is looking good so I'm aiming to be there at 5:30. I think they request folk with cars that they want to show be there for 5:30 (many were already there by that time last year). Don't see any issues with rolling up later, especially if you don't mind parking at far end / away from main show.

End time is pretty flexible too - I'll likely leave a little early (7:30 ish) so I can get to the Cat before the parking lot fills up!
