I thought you were a Toyota guy through and through!
Do you still have the Camry Hybrid?
No. 83K km and it was flawless, but I couldn't really fit behind the wheel and the summers were toast, winters were marginal and the front rotors needed turning because of such lite pedal pressure needed. It was my wife's daily and it was 3 years, 3 months into a 4 year lease and the buyout was $17,900 and it wholesaled for $17,600. So pretty good.
So thinking that the dollar was going to sink to 70 cents by next summer I opted to get into something now before another round of price increases.
As for Toyota, well ya, still in the camp, but there is nothing there. The 2016 Camry Hybrid, under the skin, is an exact copy of the 2012. The V6 XLE is the same story. Doesn't come remotely close to the Max on any level and the equivalent lease is $60 more a mth. 3% 48mth lease to Maxima's .9%
