While I could likely make it tonight, I definitely can't be there before at least 7:30...

I'd have to get home, have a quick bite with the wife, and then get in the car and go.  It's a good 25 min drive from my place.

Ugh, hate to say I was in then now I'm out but yeah, now i'm out :(.  Spent a lot of time last night on race car.  Tonight I need to load tires in the truck and I'm at the Track Weds/Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun!

What's OCT 1st look like for everyone?  I hear there is a novice day at the track again.

I can't make it to Kanata either.

Though, I do love how this plan derailed faster than someone asking about CUV's.

It went from drinks downtown to car show in Kanata in about 4 posts.

Sorry, partly my fault as I suggested the car show but someone had already suggested "not downtown" so I'm not taking full responsibility!

Forecast / radar looking like some light showers around 4/5pm, if it doesn't get any worse, I'm still planning to go...

I'm just leaving the office now (6:14pm). Assuming my bus shows up, I'll be home around 6:50. Sweet, there's the bus!!!

Right, now that I'm comfortably seated, and scheduled to arrive home at 6:50, the earliest I could get to Kanata is 7:20 if I come in a suit and don't eat.

I'm thinking this is a no go :(

Plus, icky looking clouds.

Been about 5 years since I have had to that.  But I guess I would watching TV shows that hear about that haven't seen.  There is this one called Game of Thrones, something like that?   On it's last season?  Guess it didn't do to well, since they are ending it! :-)

Only 35 mins by bus. One bus. Door to door.  Really not so bad.  Driving would be 25 mins but parking costs $240/month and I'm # 68 on the waiting list... FFS.

Yep, turn out was lower than last year as I think quite a few were put off by the look of the weather. Still, nice excuse to drive the TR6 for an evening. Trip to the Cheshire Cat was less successful with ~ 50 people in the hot upstairs room and only 1 server covering us so I didn't stay long!
