Realised today that someone jack@ss stole all of the valve caps off my S2000.  Obviously not a big deal, but what kind of @sshat needs to steal something only worth of couple of bucks?   ::)

FFS!   >:(  Almost nothing surprises me anymore.  Someone stole one of the roundles off my friend's Z3 earlier this summer while we were in the restaurant eating lunch.  A few weeks ago someone climbed one of our radio towers to steal the cable that powers the tower lighting.  We figured they probably got about $30 at the most for the copper.   ::)

Grad dress shopping with the kid.  What a rip-off.  $800 or much more and the garments feel shoddily made to me.

my daughters graduation dress last year was .. maybe $150 from a store here  in Edmonton.  Your daughter is probably used to those high-priced windproof-waterproof-breathable-will-write-exams-for-you climbing clothes and translating it to grad dresses.

OMG, where?  What store?  Geez.

My tailor says he can design and make one for her for about $400 - not sure of that's his regular price or just because I've been a loyal customer for 31 years.  He showed her a few sketches and they were amazing.  No chance of seeing someone else in the dress...   ;D

I think it was KDS2K, heard he was missing his and needed some replacements. ;)

While no excuse for this, just be happy that is all they did.

Do the trailered thing, I bet your daughter would really appreciate being able to have input on the design of a dress specifically for her.

The city replaced an overpass on the Ring road here this summer. For about three months that section was down to two lanes. It was finally completed and opened last Monday. Sweet.

Yesterday morning it was back down to three lanes and a pavement stripper had been dropped off on the new overpass. This morning it looks like they've removed the new asphalt on one lane of the new overpass. W.T.F.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Electrical tries to wait until the pavement is down, then route cable.  ;D

I lost $120 in gambling over 4 nights.  Several hundred with my wife shopping at the outlets, and even more going out to eat!

But just think of how much she "saved" at the outlets        Those outlets there are pretty good actually, I found some good deals when I was there, but the dollar was stronger then as well.  And a $120 loss gambling over 4 nights isn't bad at all, heck I lost more last Thursday night playing poker with my buddies  >:(  :o   :rofl2:

Compared to some of the other outlets around here, like the ones in Niagara (both sides), and PA.  I didn't find any better deals.  Although the selection was decent.  The dollar was part of the issue.

Beware the quality of outlet merchandise...Typically manufacturers will make a lesser quality product designed specifically for outlet malls...it fools customers who think they are getting brand name quality for a discount (i.e. they think it didn't sell at the main store and is now at the outlet)
I love it when a plan comes together.

Last time I went it was after their black Friday sales... so everything was marked down even more.  Love Vegas though, it's something to see!  Weather would've been decent this time of year for you.

Spent 2 weeks trip driving from New Mexico to Arizona to Utah, then San Fran. I've noticed that people only move into the passing lanes when necessary,  creating a much steadier stream of traffic.  Maybe we were lucky, but we did not meet a single lane hog! Back in Ontario, lane hoggers are everywhere!
