Check the used Caliber for suspension wear, water leaks.

This is one of those "oh hell no" when someone asks if they should buy one. Buspass is a better ride.

The only high position seat small wagon competitor for this one is Matrix. But Matrix can't be competed by this one!

for people who just don't care about their car, drive short distances and haul around some garden gear or what have you.... it's a decent used car.

but only because you should be able to buy it cheap. 2011 and newer at least feel slightly nicer with the upgraded soft(er) touch interior and heated seats found in most models... but it is just a cheap runaround. note that i didn't say inexpensive in this case. cheap is something different.

it has a place in the marketplace... but that place is for people who need midsize car or small suv versatility, want something newish with warranty and are on a tight budget.

basically, if you can... you'd be better off going 2 years older and getting a matrix for the same price.

You and I both.  The article talks about the size to price ratio...what about the ugly to price ratio.  One would look like a total douche if you pulled into a parking lot, opened up the trunk, flip down those high end speakers and start blasting music...how embarassing.

Tooscoops, I still firmly believe in the freinds dont let friends drive Calibers mantra.

I remember sitting in one these at the Toronto Auto Show a few years ago and thought it was one of the worse vehicles I have ever sat in, anyone buying this has never looked at anything else.

You are a saleman...I get it, someone asks, here it is sir in all its craptastic reality. Like conwelpic said though, have the people really looked at nothing else, Ive sat in a few and driven one, I honestly cant think of a worse vehicle.
