I don't think the title is correct.  I believe this poll was conducted in Ontario only.

I find it odd to have the roads listed like that - Bayview in some areas has been repaved (likewise, Dufferin) and are wonderful roads.  In other areas, I agree that they're terrible.  It's just odd to call a road that's 50km long "worst" when only 10km of it is bad (I, in no way, am saying that those metrics are correct).

False. Bayview is never a wonderful road.  In fact, it's my least favourite road in Ontario.


Though, Carling is the same way.  Stretches of it have been redone and are in good shape but as a whole it's like driving a 14ft boat in a 2 foot chop.

From Steeles to Major Mack, Bayview has been repaved.  Down near Finch/Sheppard, though, I'm pretty sure it ruined the Corolla when brand new.  I agree it's a crappy road, but I bet there are stretches of other roads that are worse (but they are less-travelled roads).
Anyway, splitting hairs.  I agree, Bayview sucks.

One of my cycling training loops goes down Bayview from Moore St to Rosedale Valley Rd (sometimes all the way down to the bottom) and I think its pretty good.

Your right about Hunt Club and PoW.  It's like a series of bomb  craters.  My wife drives through that intersection and I figure it's a big reason why our car is a clunking mess.

The Creater City of Sudbury is the worst possible place to drive in Ontario and one of the big reasons reasons we jumped at opportunity to leave that disaster. I suspect one of the reasons Toronto streets get a large number of votes is based on population and participation.

I used Dufferin everday (from Finch to Allen/Lawrence) and that stretch is garbage. However, I am yet to find any street in the city that comes close to Finch between the 400 and Dufferin...I flat out refuse to drive on that stretch unless it's absolutely necessary.
