ppl are running A/C already?  Not till July usually for me.

It's 28° here today. A/C is definitely in use.

Ours has been on for a week or two, high twenties during the day.

My thermostat on the main floor was reading 27c. Upstairs where we sleep was even hotter.

I don't mind a few hot nights to remind me of summer when I was a kid with no A\C but beyond that I'd rather sleep comfortably. The noise with windows open becomes an issue after 3:30am.

What next manual windows, no power steering and no car A\C !! Hey sounds like a few cars I owned  ;)

Wimps.   Never had a/c growing,  got hot slept in basement.   I'm freezing at work all the time.

It's a rare day I'm in shorts.

I'm the opposite, I'm not good with heat. We turn the AC on as soon as the snow is gone...AC during the day heat at night.

My company's worldwide HQ in Frankfurt am Main does not have Air Con. I don't know how they suffered through the heat wave last summer right before I went in June.

The Air Con is the second least-used feature in my Mazda. Least used feature being the sat nav. It's called the moonroof and windows for temperature regulation; the system's practically always off.

Being cold is just as likely as hot flashes.  Depends on the person

Don't care what the season is, day of the calendar.  Thermostat is set to 23C (winter or summer).  I rarely open the windows, because I hate the birds in the early am.  Sometimes my wife does, then she forgets, then I wake up at 4am swearing at the birds.

I do too, just not when I sleep.  Cutting the lawns, playing softball in the 30's is fine by me.  Hasn't rained in over a week, fine by me.

Me too. I am loving this weather in the GTA recently.
Although, a little rain (overnight or while I am at work please) would be good for the poor grass.

Nope.  James is right.  You're only cold once it's all over.  But not everyone gets the hot flashes before you're cold all the time.

Chick a few years older than me at work yesterday, when it was 30C and we had no A/C in the building was wearing a sweater.  She couldn't understand why everyone else was uncomfortable.  She was also very puzzled as to why I was losing my mind, wishing I could stuff ice down my pants.  I was at the point where I felt that my core was in meltdown and I was going to pass out.  Meanwhile, she's having hot tea.   :rofl2:

Puberty and menopause in the house at the same time.  Youngsters - have kids EARLY.

Woke up two days ago to find the dog had left 7 little gifts scattered everywhere on the main floor. He was sad and exhausted all day, clearly not feeling well. He seemed better the next morning and into the early afternoon, but then last night I spend almost the whole evening outside with him. He's now passing blood instead of stool.

He's at the vet this morning with my wife. $700 in diagnostics later we hope we'll know what's wrong with him and how we can make him feel better.  :(
