Uber potentially fixing its insurance flaw?
« on: September 08, 2015, 11:06:09 am »
http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/uber-and-intact-plan-partnership-for-canada-s-1st-ride-sharing-insurance-policy-1.3218872

It seems to me like, although it is potentially being rectified, this news does support that Uber's current practice is not properly insured contrary to Uber's position that there is sufficient insurance in place.

...the current regimen (before Intact's policy will kick-in, if approved) is one of self-insurance, by the way.
