Hey there! I've been a registered user for a while but finally decided to introduce myself. My daily driver is a '99 Saab 9-5 V6.

It has been reliable lately... that's very concerning. I feel like it's secretly planning to explode or something. ::)

I seem to recall these models had issues with the automatic transmissions. Am I remembering correctly? How has yours been?

AFAIK no issues with transmissions, but electrical and especially HVAC are a mess.

Saab, Land Rover and Jaguar are the automotive equivalent of S&M.
