  Booooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrring.....
I was gonna say.......I work in Finance and couldn't bring myself to work out that calculation.

I'm loving my motorcycle more and more. So much fun, yet pretty much penalty-free at the pump and I'm totally not even trying. :bounce: . I'm saving the environement ! ;D

It is rather gratifying how I'm no longer filling up the 3er at least 1x a week like I used to........

Sunday, drove into a headwind, gusting to 40 km/h at times, and recorded 7.5L/100 km at an average speed of 104 km/h.
Had a tailwind on the way home and recorded 6.6L/100 km at the same average speed.

14.6L/100km in the 2016 Camaro SS 6MT last week over about 750km of driving. This was about 50/50 city/highway.

7.8L/100 kms for this tank. I don't check it that often, but it seems to be more fuel efficient than the CrossTrek.

Maybe timing but getting the best fuel consumption ratings I've ever received since my recent oil change. Tried Amsoil for the first time. I've previously only used big name brand synthetic oil as a comparison. Changed the oil at 8K. Getting just over 1L/100km better. Find it odd but happy.

That's about what I get with my sienna awd.  Actually around 13.5L  but I love the van.   On the other hand,  last fuel up with the TDI.  $20,  430km...thanks dieselgate! :rofl2:
Yeah, I wish I had a diesel for my automobile at this point, as it's been the cheapest fuel at the petrol station for awhile !

I gotta say, the board computer on my bike is strikingly accurate. Each fill up is exactly spot-on between display and manual calculation. Too bad the 3er is only getting mostly urban usage at this point :( Thirsty, thirsty, thirsty.

Talking with a friend today, they replaced their Hemi pickups with Ecodiesel
Their towing mileage ( 12 ft box trailer ) has gone from 25l/100km to 15 l/100km

The XT is holding steady at 8.7 lifetime.  Did a long run last week with three adults and field gear with only a slight increase in fuel use compared to other trips I have made on that same stretch in the last couple of months.  Currently at 6,400 kms and knowing Subaru there is still some break-in to happen  ;)  Oh, max boost has been 19.0  ;D

so had the wrangler out for a good drive with the wife this weekend... got home and checked the on-board... 11.5l/100 avg.  my wife complained that her renegade hardly got any better... i needed to take it today to work anyway, so i checked... she was getting 9.7l/100. so i reset it in the driveway and did my drive to work.... got here (40km later) and it is at 4.9l/100!

just to show the difference in the conditions/type of driving... comparing my near ideal mostly hwy drive to her in-city, stop and go, short trips just doesn't work!
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

Update on the XT: now has 9,400 kms.  Last trip to Port McNeill return got 8.0 and 7.8 on the two tanks used; lifetime average is still steady at 8.7 but I am doing its longest gravel drive so far next week (about 80 kms round trip) so will be interesting to see what it gets on that.

I'm on a driving/trail-running trip with the Miata. I'm taking quiet mountain roads and driving hella fast. Slowing to 120 occasionally but mostly 140-150 and longish stretches at 160-170.

Just filled and recorded 7.8L/100km. The benefits of a small engine, light weight and small aero profile.  Percentage wise it's much higher than the 6.0 I usually see highway driving, but considering the velocities involved, excellent.

My wife was complaining about the fuel economy on the RAV getting worse in the last 6 months, so I entered all the fill ups since we got it in April 2012 into Excel; it has averaged 11.5 l/100 kms lifetime.  I ran some trend lines as well, and it is pretty consistent, but does show a slight increase over time.  I must say I am not surprised, but am disappointed.  The Forester (both of them) got much better than this.  For some perspective, the last 6 months (Nov-April) we had the Sienna it was getting 12.5.

Considering what you were doing, I would say that is pretty darn tooting good!  The XT will see numbers around 13-15 at those speeds, so goes to show what light weight and decent aerodynamics will give you.

The Sienna fuel economy is pretty similar to my old Odyssey.  We would get that as an average in the winter.  With 50/50 city/hwy.  The Hyundai Entourage is pretty crappy.  13.5L mixed in the summer, and 15L 100% city!  More than twice what the 6 consumes.
