in the heavy-duty category, the Chevy Silverado took first and the GMC Sierra placed segment (no other HD model performed above the average for this segment, so there wasn't a third-place finisher).

Gotta tell that to 2 of my work colleagues with Sierras, one is a 2014 Denali and the other a 2015 SLE. Their issue? If they drive their truck in 4wd and park it overnight, the truck switches back to 2wd and gets stuck there....GMC told both of them that this is a software issue that they don't have a fix for yet. #sucks

my dad always had issues with his Ford pickups, but the GMs never.


now I find it interesting, the Frontier came out ahead of the Tacoma?

This is JD Powers   :sleep:  The Sun News of automotive reporting  :P they just sit behind desks and never actually test any vehicles. For this type of information I only use Consumers Reports which has a much larger sampling size and actually buy and test the vehicles they report on.

^Honda actually EXTENDED the warranty for the transmissions.
