Cool - When I built my Gen 2 Camaro I used quite a fee 1LE parts from the catalog - they had big brakes (discs all around, a big deal then) and some terrific suspension bits.

I like they are at least offering something on the V6.  Keeps that engine combination relevant to us car enthusiasts.  I wonder how close this package will get to Stingray track/performance numbers.  I hope the price for this package is as reasonable as the last time they offered it.

The satin black hood is kinda dumb but the rest of the package is rather tasty

You'll be driving the Miata soon and then you won't have time to check out these things on the forum 'cause you're going to be way, way too busy out having fun.  A LOT of fun.

Yep - and with the Mazda, I probably won't lose my license!

I bet it cuts down on glare a great deal.

Wow, I really like this look of this.  More appealing (to me) than the Mustang, and I did not anticipate ever saying that.

Yep same here.  Wouldn't even look twice at the Mustang.  This is the one to have

I actually like the matte hood, at least in pics. The front splitter is super-hot!!  Wicked looking.

Between the Camaro and Corvette, GM is on a performance car roll.  They put the Camaro on a diet and amped up the chassis even past where it was.  Sweet.  Who knew that at some point in time the Camaro would be one of the best handling cars on the road, period?  I mean, they've had potential for a long time (as far back as Gen 2 you could make them pretty adept on twisty roads) but I didn't see this coming.

Same.  Ford didn't do enough with the Mustang.  Personally, I think the whole retro thing is played out now.  Time to move forward.

While the GT350 is pretty sweet, the Ford to me is too big and too heavy - the newest Camaro has been trimmed and leaned out - it now undercuts the Mustang by a significant several hundred pounds.  While I was willing to overlook the exterior (and somewhat the interior) of the previous Camaro on the basis that GM had invested everything in the chassis and engines, the newest car does a better job of modernizing the Gen 1 theme and the interior looks greatly improved.

Also, the SS is right on top of the GT350 performance wise, and for a whole bunch less dough.  The Camaro is actually a pretty huge bang/buck machine right now.

Yea, but only one of these cars will be collectible.  And the interior in the Camaro is still awful.

Neither would be collectible if I owned it.  I'd drive it. Accumulate kms.  Probably far too many.
