very lovely car. makes sense to go turbo for them. why not get a boost of power without adding displacement...

that wheel is... busy. but when you want to feel like you are driving an f1 car, i guess that is the thing you see/touch most often, so why not make it busy. the turn signals on it are interesting... every other company wants you to keep your hands on the wheel when talking on the phone, setting directions or changing the radio.. the ferrari folks don't ever want you to let it go!

not a fan of the rectangular screen though. such a pretty, well designed looking cockpit... then a very generic looking system in there... even if the edges were tapered, or rounded.. something to make it seem less like the system you can get in a corolla.

Pretty car and all, but meh, the 458 is still the Ferrari I would buy. This is too much of a touring car for my tastes and for that, the far prettier good looking Aston Martin is still the car for me. I mean hell, for $200K, the Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet would be the bargain model.
Lighten up Francis.....

I really like what they've done with the back end. it was a problem before and now it's one of the best angles.

Nice looking car but for some reason Ferraris just never did it for me, aside from the racier 599 variants.

Hmm how to spend $200k. That kind of money buys an SL63 with change. Heck throw a few options on the California and you're probably into SL65 territory.

And for something more sportscar and less GT you can get a fantastic 911 for $200k.

Call me crazy, but if I was in the market for a cabriolet GT car, I would just get the 911 4S Cabriolet or even the 911 Cabriolet. The 911 is just so much more appealing to me with the added bonus of costing much less. And yes I know there's a big difference in power, but I could care less.

I tend to agree.  Though I can't say Ferraris do nothing for me, I just don't find many of them particularly appealing at the respective price point.

The 599 (and other generations of front engine, V12 Ferraris) being the exception.   That would be my first money-no-object lottery car purchase.

Yes please.

Modern Ferrari, 550 or 575M, by far one of my favorite models.

A few years ago I spotted a 599 GTO in town. Terrific looking and sounding thing. I wasn't quick enough to get a picture.

never really been a Fezza guy outright, although the GTO series does warrant respect. Front engine V12 models being my favourite of the bunch.

This is a damn good looking one, I will admit. Still, for my money it would be an Aston or an 8C Competizione .

Mmmm...

Oh yeah!!

But then again so is an F-Type and you'd still have almost enough left over for a 911 S4 winter car... ;D.

People who buy this simply because it's a Ferrari...  They don't want a 911 nor a Benz...

You guys get the demographic all wrong...

true, but they would also look at a Maser, Aston, etc. And I would have the Maser given the choice, but the Aston would be a close second. Engine soundtracks win my heart.

Yeah, this is basically a Ferrari for rich people who aren't necessarily hardcore car enthusiasts. And that's fine, it's not as if the California isn't a good performer.
