Lots of cars have it.  They usually time out after a bit.  Lots of cars with the electronic ebrakes have auto hold now.  Including the car I'm driving this week.

Maybe I am explaining it wrong.

In an automatic car, if your in drive, the car moves slightly, you have to brake at a light.  No advances for the car to do that for you?

With manual, you don't have to use the brake if the road is flat.  But the slightest incline, and the car will move.

I know about hill assist, I have that.

auto hold.  Even on flat pretty sure the auto hold works on some cars with the electronic ebrake.

But maybe you should just take a bus if holding the brake is too hard for you ... ;)

I was thinking it would be a feature for those suckers that need heated steering wheels...

The B250 had a brake hold feature. worked well I thought.

Cool, I just read that the Acura RLX has automatic brake hold, for up to 10 minutes for trains or whatever.  Guess my idea had already been thought up.  Back to work I guess...

TLX brake hold is the same.  Turned it on this morning.

Every time you stop it holds and won't move till you press the gas.

Neighbour two doors down had her 2007 Honda Accord written off, she was hit, then another car hit her.  She just bought a 2015 RDX, she gets it tomorrow.  It might have it.  I like the 2nd generation RDX (for a CUV that is), but one would think with a V6, that it could tow like a Ford Escape, 3500lbs.  But no, only 1500lbs!

If I'm flying from Winnipeg to Phoenix, why would I want to connect in Toronto or Vancouver?  #fuqme

I practically had to race to get there, but it was a good time.  That pbs washed down with the oatmeal stout was just right... :lick:  We'll get together again soon.

Thanks again for the beer glasses!

I'm in. Maybe we meet at the Red Barn in Moosomin so our SK brethren can participate.
