So we are looking at about 50cm of snow and 100km winds here today.......  This sucks.

Winds are NE 34 gusting to 46 at the Winnipeg airport this morning.  With the buildings downtown creating wind tunnels, the walk to and from the gym was a workout in itself.

It's cold enough to snow here, but clear skies so far this week.  The ground is really dry though. It rained last Saturday, but not nearly enough to make much of a difference.  I've been trying to fill my two rain barrels for the last few weeks and only one is full so far and barely anything in the other.

I'm hoping our extremely dry fields don't suffer the same fate as Northern Alberta.

It just starting raining here this week, but was very dry until.  Very dry conditions make me a little anxious as our house is literally surrounded by forest.
