Ford Mustang Fastback restoration

RIXCAR is a car restoration and painting workshop in Latvia, capital city Riga. Company has seven years experience in car restoration processes, at the moment there are 14 employees in RIXCAR and each of them is master in his field.

The main focus areas of our work are:
-Car body repairs and painting
-Classic car restoration

Within the restoration process we use the highest quality environmentally friendly materials to ensure excellent results. The workshop is equipped with modern technologies which allows us to carry out custom projects of any difficulty. After we see the condition of the car and we do everything we can to manage work processes smarter, to keep within the agreed price or decrease it by doing things differently and to be more innovative and creative so there would be less risks of unplanned expenses. We offer different kinds of ways to get everything done + we stand by our performance. We are able to provide numerous references from our customers from Nordic countries. We can also assist you with transporting your car to our workshop.


Car arrive to Rixcar  for restoration.



To start restoration process we removed old paint from the body, to make sure there is not any rust under it



We cut out all the rusted parts and welded all the places where it was necessary, some of them was made by hand







Car painting process, we use the highest quality environmentally friendly materials to ensure excellent results.

I assume that the final colour is Wimbledon White, or are you returning to the yellow?

Like the mouse over colour effect on Rixcar website. Black and white picture which turns to colour upon mouse over. Especially the 1969 Plymouth Barracuda. http://www.rixcar.lv/ Under Projects tab.

Wimbledon White is the final color. The interior and engine will be assembled by the owner, we did a full bodywork restoration and painting.

Hey, that's cool.  Nicely done!

That's my favourite older Mustang!  My grandfather had one like that, but in a maroon colour.  I saw one just like it at a local car show.  I have memories of my before-seatbelt youth lying down with my twin brother in the trunk area and looking up at the sky as my grandfather drove.

Wtf are you talking about pal. This isn't a bunch of people ruining a car by making it as ghetto fabulous as possible.....these guys restore cars and do a hell of a job!!

If Pimp My Ride was like this it would actually be kind of neat to watch.

Maybe these RIXCAR guys should start a TV show.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!
