I think a coil spring has broken on the wife's 2010 Versa. Is it safe to drive it to the mechanic?

Yes, I'd say if you take it easy.  Many people are probably unknowingly driving with broken coils.

Stay away from potholes, speedbumps, fast cornering and high speed.  In other words, be careful.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

I unknowingly drove for a few months on a broken top shock mount.  :rofl2: I mistook it for a badly worn out shock. You'll be fine.
