Looked at the Panamera prices on the Porsche Canada website.   I think I would  just as soon have the basic(!) Panamera and save the $21K plus taxes for some other purchase....or maybe just save $10K and buy a base 911 instead.  Don't need 4 seats and even more, don't want that added complexity of a hybrid powertrain.

I will be following the day-by-day closely tho'

a person get this car is probably leasing it usually will not care about the extra $21gs or how complexity of the drive train
let me check my lotto ticket to see if this cars makes my list  ;D

also it would be nice if you could use the EPA number , ( since they are closer to real life numbers) and at the end of the test drive include total number of km driven

I'm surprise no one actually commented about the numbers of buttons around the shifter.  That was one of the editor's comment about the Equus.  I guess is a Porsche, anything is acceptable.

They don't make this car so that people buy it, they make it to lower their overall emission average.

James, you're back!  It's been a few weeks.  Nice to read you again...

That kind of money at a Porsche dealer will buy a nice 911.   ;D

I have seen very few of these on the road, mainly driven under the speed limit, in the left lane by 70 year olds.....For my money, 911 all the way, I dont think there is one angle from which the Panamera looks even remotely good, I havent looked underneath though.
Lighten up Francis.....

Oh I've seen quite a few in the Ottawa West end. There is one in Kanata Lakes driven by a lawyer, and I've seen his teenage daughter drive it too. No 70-year-olds blocking traffic in the left lane.
Panamera doesn't need to be beautiful to get sales, just like Mick Jagger doesn't need to be a model to get la1d. It doesn't work the same way as for $25k family sedans.

Yeah apparently!  I called a random repair man today to come fix my fridge.  He shows up and says, hey i was driving beside that Porsche yesterday on the highway.  What are the chances?

even if your Lotto Max came up how many would buy one.......as said above a "gimmick" to reduce MPG averages.... :-\.............wot's the difference between Wing's FRIDGE and His Panamera...?............

   wait for it......................

ya can store an open bottle of beer in his FRIDGE and ya have to sweep the Panamera with a curling broom to remove the  Dorito detritus and it still LOOKS like a  half eatenTURTLE............
Time is to stop everything happening at once

"As you switch between all the screens, you realize you haven’t looked at the road in two minutes — not good."

I think the same can be said for a lot of the systems in cars these days (MB Command, The Idrive in our 328, MFT etc etc) I know I came close to rear-ending another car  once in the BMW while I was toggling between screens

Bingo. And if they can help some people earn some green credentials in the eyes of their peers, then it's a win-win.

The design has really grown on me.  I too hated it at first.  Even if I had the money; I would be more descriminate.  I wouldn't buy the V6 nor the V6 hybrid as both engines are Audi sourced and as much as I love Audi, it's V6 in a Porsche would be a turn off for me personally.  To each his own.
