So the next time I need an internet connection, I'll just pull up and park next to a Benz

Good Minivan feature. But, according to their website, its $59/mo for a scant 5GB.
Why not just upgrade your phone to some unlimited plan and use a $3 mobile hotspot app. Better than handing your money to MB.

I can just see a battered minivan full of kids circling the mall parking lot. "Look Dad, park next to that fancy-schmancy Mercedes! We'll download some porn while you and Mom get the groceries!"

Decisions, decisions.
I use my phone as a hotspot for my netbook and Playbook - but the battery life would be better on the Mercedes.
The downside would be the gas mileage from towing the Mercedes around.
