I don't get why people rush in the morning and stress out about not having time to get ready. Is time management a lost art?

Says the guy who works from home mostly.... If your not a morning person (like me), you try to get every second of extra sleep you can.  Like today I am running on 5.5 hours of sleep.  Went to bed at midnight, friends over for the holiday.  And my son woke up at 5:30 am.  So cereal it was!  ;D

Agreed!  I'm not a morning person, and when I wake up, I'm on autopilot for the 75 minutes it takes me to make coffee, read the news, shower and head to work.  My coffeemaker is set up to turn on at 6:30.  The night before, I insert the K-Cup in the machine, and set a coffee cup below it and insert sugar cubes and a spoon, ready to go.  When I wake up, all have to do is start the machine by closing the lid and hitting the START button.  I do not want to think, never mind make food.  Fack that cooking crap.  I'll eat at work.

Everyone is different.  Some people don't realize that.

Not everyone is a morning person.  Time management has NOTHING to do with it.

Why not shower at night, before bed?  That way you go to bed feeling all fresh and clean...and one less thing to worry about half-asleep in the morning?

What I need and what I get is never the same... (parents understand this).  I need 7 hours.  I prefer 8, I often get 6.  I try to shower at night, if not when my son is napping...

Between sleeping and spending 1/2 hour making eggs, your day is half gone!  :rofl2:

Right and 10 min for the water to boil lol

You don't boil poached eggs  :P 5 minutes to 180

I have a super handy microwave egg poacher - 50 seconds for two eggs.

I'm not a morning person, I just get up earlier so I can adjust.

That's just gross.  Some of us sweat at night while sleeping.  I shower every morning.

Not sure why some of you don't understand that everyone is different.  This is a very simple concept.  Get a facking clue.

I'm not a morning person either.  I stay up late every night as I enjoy the evenings, but hate the mornings.  I don't get to sleep in often, if ever, with two young kids, but I always want to!

On a side note, I despise Tim's coffee......I'd take just about any other coffee over Tims.  I personally don't get the 100 car lineup at the drive through of each Tims in the morning, but to each their own.

I suppose if you sweat that much at night, than it would make sense.

So that means you shower before bed, then have to shower again when you get up?
