My boarder's truck.

So far he's mostly getting scammers responding.

The pictures were taken in the fall. The truck is immaculate.

I think you're probably right. Feedback would be good.

I'm not sure about the pricing on these things either.

$31k+ seems like quite a bit for a 4 year old truck......

Feedback:

Include interior shots, otherwise buyers (me included) will expect the interior to be average condition at best.

Take new exterior shots or at least put in the description when the pictures were taken, otherwise buyers may assume that the pictures are years old.

Pricing seems fine compared to similar Tacoma's in the area, but it's definitely not a deal. I'd drop it to $29k.

just my $0.02..

There are some cheaper ones out there, even from dealers:

http://www.autotrader.ca/a/Toyota/Tacoma/Wetaskiwin/Alberta/5_26393735_CT2005411113421555/?showcpo=ShowCPO&orup=6_15_52

A friend of mine was just doing the dealer run buying a new vehicle and he was saying pickup truck sales (in AB, anyway) are really down.

Admittedly the OP truck is a full load - but overall yes, truck prices have fallen.  The US demand kept them high for a while, but that seems to be falling off.

Buyer from Washington state picked it and 7 others up on a transporter. He didn't even flinch at the price.

I love those guys! I've been selling trucks to a guy down in Kansas, He never flinches with my prices either. Prices at dealer auction there are in many cases higher than retail here. Its crazy!

Crazy. Sucks for local buyers. The supply is going to dwindle, prices will keep going up...

I was just thinking the same thing, and how I'll be in the market for a vehicle likely in the next 6 months.  I'll be selling mine also though, so hopefully it evens out.

Maybe I should advertise my Mazda3 in North Dakota.

I do not think a Mazda would get much
If it a 4/4 truck it would sell

This has happened before, in the late 90's. Dealers from Canada go nuts sending trucks down south, and US dealer go crazy buying here and shipping out. It floods the US market eventually and sends the prices there down which upsets the big US dealers. Just before the new year, I tried to reinstate my membership at a dealer auction in Washington state, I was flat out refused....no more Canadian dealer registrations were being accepted. This tells me the market there is getting swamped with Canadian imports and dealers.

Everything is online now making it so easy for US buyers, however, it's becoming more difficult for Canadian dealers to export. My local dealer auction sold close to 200 units last week to US buyers. Trucks are now being sold "ready to ship" meaning all recalls are done, letters of compliance completed, and in some cases already fitted with US instrument panels.

Looks like +/- $US29k in the Olympia area. But I don't really know.

A guy I know was selling his '11 Silverado extended cab 4x4 back in the fall and a dealer arranged a deal sight-unseen and it presumably went to the U.S. as well. It was a great deal - something like $22k and < 50k km.
