Before commenting too much, I'd suggest you guys actually sit in both this and the GLA.
Yeah, and an open pickup bed is the last place a dog belongs.Cargo area in the GTI is "carpeted," but it's more like a stiff felt and doesn't seem to hang onto dog hair.Having said that, does anyone actually care about scratched plastic in the cargo area?

WRX/STI and this are not exactly (or even approximately) similar in their missions. GLA45 or CLA45 maybe. Its still a pretty neat option but its a bit nichey. You have to want a people mover but something smaller than a van...but also value luxury features / badge and AWD to get it over a Rondo or Golf Wagon or something. Thankfully for MB that 3 pointed star is worth like $3k on its own.One comparison I'd like to see is this well loaded $42k model compared to an Odyssey EXL Navi.
Its ironic because I find you to be among the more delusional, though ultimately nicer, folks on this forum.
Right's just a hatchback that doesn't slope quickly rearward after the front cabin. But everyone keeps telling me it's like a Mazda5 but the Mazda5 is so much larger I don't understand. I think people are confused.
The B-Klasse competes with the Golf Plus and BMW 2er Active Tourer. It's not so small a niche, they're quite popular with families who take trips and such yet are thrifty and compact enough for fitting in at the market or in smaller parking spaces.I'd love to say larger vehicles like the Ford Mondeo Turnier I have are perfect for a family but I've had to pass up quite a few parking spots because it's simply too big.
In Germany this class of vehicle makes sense. In Canada (or at least in AB) it doesn't, because there is plenty of space and the only time I had to pass up on parking spots was, if it was a parkade and the clearance was too low for my truck.
haha. sorry i missed you at the last auto show noto.
When you first start moving from a stop the transmission immediately shifts from first to second gear, you get this initial lunge forward then no acceleration unless you really stomp on the throttle. You can switch the car to sport mode to avoid this and the vehicle accelerates more like a car normally would, but then unless you manually shift or switch the programming back to economy mode the transmission holds some gears too long and won’t shift into fuel saving seventh gear until much later.
