They should have made the logo on the tailgate bigger...and what's with that grill?  :P :shake:

If I bought one, I'd have to replace both items – it's embarrassing.

As is, it isn't targeting high-end buyers...more like hillbillies who've come into cash.

Jesus thats tacky. ...Ram drivers are already highly suspect to me to begin with, this screams, " we added an addition to the double wide when our Lottomax came in hyuck hyuck". Im with NR, the grille and tailgate gotta go.

My brother just bought a Ram Sport with the Hemi yesterday. You'd be right being suspicious about him. He's not nearly as classy as I am.  :rofl2:
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

This make the Ram Rebel look classy and understated.

There is hope here.

A top line truck called a "Limited" should be more understated (Bold graphics can be applied to other models). Ford, Chevy and Toyota have done a better job with they're maxed-out lux. trucks. Just removing the garish RAM from either end will go a long way...the truck is kind of compelling otherwise.

I am  not sure which kind of high end buyers they are hoping to attract...the whole design is tacky and scream cheap from where I stand.

Pretty much anyone west of the great lakes. Lots of Harley Davidson, King Ranch, Platinum, Long Horn, Denalis running around here.

that is ridiculous looking. the limited package is fine now. i do think it needs a bit more to differentiate it at the moment, but that grill and tailgate are just ugly.

even on the other launch truck against the raptor, that grill it looked garish... on a top of the line luxury truck, it does not suit it at all.

the interior is almost identical to the last year with a cover on the center console and different font in the cluster. so it's not that big a deal... they are trying to act like it's some new truck... the only new things are the things that look ridiculous.
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

Agreed. Affixing some fancy bits on a mainstream vehicle does not make it high end.

Any updates on the V6 Ecodiesel issues? Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the problem is more prevalent when driving mostly short trips on a regular basis with the new V6 Ecodiesel. I think for many people the temps don't get hot enough to burn off the sludge generated by the diesel. Chrysler did not incorporate any air/water separator system for these diesels and they tend to plug up fairly rapidly. The system is supposed to run various regenerative cycles (regen1 - 2 or 3) to prevent fouling of the dpf and turbo etc. The issue is that for many that use it for short trips the majority of the time the system cannot reach high enough temps for a long enough time period to efficiently eliminate the sludge. The urea injection is supposed to help but can only do so much. Some people have claimed that a very foul and offensive odour permeates the cab. I am curious if Nissans new Titan V8 Diesel will have better luck or design. Does anyone have any more info on this? Just wondering if Chrysler will instal some air/water separator system to solve this issue or is the problem too minimal to bother with.

I actually like the grille sans the RAM. I wonder if we are going to see the RAM brand now differentiate from Dodge, with the 30 years of crosshairs being relegated to the car division.
