Great review as always.  This CRV strikes me as a "chick crossover" - I'd never consider one personally, though I'm sure it is just fine for family hauling duties.  No comparison to the styling of the Evoque or even LR2 (yes I know totally different market), shows how small SUV's can look great.
I agree, too soft and cute. A more aggressive, edgy look would work for me.
Heck, I still prefer the clean lines of my old 06' Nissan X-Trail

If you want to go there I'd argue that the Evoque is the epitome of  'chick crossover'. In fact it's the chick crossover that other chick crossovers aspire to.

I think you got chick and chic confused.   ;D
