Findway, $99.98 CAD for your 2016 Subaru Forester. These are all weather mats like Weathertechs and Huskies but have a carpet like texture. I know a couple of guys who have them and they like them. I'm going to order a set myself eventually. I have Weathertechs right now and while I like them, they are ugly. The Findways don't look quite as nice as real carpet mats but they're a lot nicer than the plain rubber mats.

I mentioned this in post 5

And I've mentioned this before... until proper English is used on this website, just... NO.  I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I have WeatherTechs in my Santa Fe, and they are awesome.  I end many of my hikes covered in mud, slush, snow or all three.  They contain it all, and it washes out without any issues.

What if it was French.

I have the FindWay mats. They feel and look nicer because they're carpet. The dead pedal area was a bit "squeaky" due to the rubber grip, so I put a piece of paper underneath.

I haven't tried cleaning them but they seem easy to clean based on the website...

I can be a rebel, its easy on the internet  :rofl2:

Actually, these are interesting, and being on the Coast with little snow and slush (but lost of mud) these might be a good fit, and the WAF will be higher that the ones that look like they belong in the loggers trucks, an important consideration  ;)

I appreciate the feedback, and I was wondering about the dead pedal since the stock one on my 09 squeaks just on its own  :-\

Indeed!

I should also add I got the liner kit for my Odyssey and I'm very happy with how it protects the carpet.

WeatherTech users: do you leave them in year 'round or put the oem mats back in during the summer?

Year round.  Keeps sand, dirt, etc out of the carpet in the summer months.  So much easier to clean than carpet mats too.  The wife used to like the carpet in the summer, but I just started leaving the weathertech's in year round.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

My original plan was to use the OE mats in the summer, but that lasted all of a week.

I have a gravel driveway surrounded by pine trees, and got sick of gravel and pine cones getting tracked into the car and stuck in the carpet. It's much easier to sweep junk out of the WeatherTechs, so I leave them in year-round.

I ended up with the Findway's and am very happy with them.  Ordering was easy, and they arrived quickly by Canada Post considering the size of the box (under 2 weeks).  Thanks to all who suggested them

They fit perfectly, using the Subaru attachments for keeping the drivers one from moving; the only weird thing is that the drivers one goes over top of the fuel release lever.  I can understand as it should help to keep that well clear, and its not too hard to get at the release.  They are also Wife Approved (she thought they came from Subaru that is how good they match and fit), and she now wants them for the RAV.

I can post pictures if anyone wants, just ask.

Yeah let's see those pics!

Too late for a recommendation but for anyone else still looking I have been well pleased with the 3D Maxpider mats shown below.  I had Weathertech before in the Sonata and was generally very happy with them but these mats are an improvement in:

1) texture - the smooth finish on the Weathertechs made them slippery when wet - not the best scenario to be stepping from a slippery exterior surface onto a slippery interior surface.  These are more grippy.

2) coverage - a bit better with these, particularly with the dead pedal covered

3) appearance - these just look more luxe compared to the utilitarian WT.

Here:  https://www.partsengine.ca/3d-maxpider-c-216.aspx

Got a set for the Genesis and the Fit.  Very happy.  The actually messed up the shipment on one of the mats - sent a front passenger mat for the previous gen Fit - but fixed it pronto with no extra shipping charges to me.

Forgot to mention - these have a fuzzy almost Velcro-like backing to them, so even if your vehicle doesn't have built-in retention clips / hooks, they will not slide out of place.

We're sorry, there are no 3D Maxpider items available for your vehicle.

That was for the S2000.  :P
