While I was in Ireland last week we went into the Dublin branch of the famous London jewelers Boodles....very posh (had to be buzzed in) One of the people I was with was looking at Patek Phillipe watches. They had a nice selection of both new and vintage. The prices ranged from 15,000 Euros to over 70K....I had no idea  :o

Surprised they started that low.

From some of their advertising you only have to buy one for the next 3-4 generations to use.

Got cold feet on that Massdrop and cancelled. For nowI am going to pull the trigger on that Tissot. Quartz or not, it's a nice looking piece for the price. It can always become my daily watch if I get a better automatic. Pics to come Monday hopefully!

I've been without a watch for 6 months now, since my Hamilton automatic got stolen. Before that I had a Seiko quartz since age 16...I'm a one watch kind of guy. Anyway, got myself this, which hopefully will be my watch for the foreseeable future...I have a thing for blue...(sorry for the crappy picture)
I love it when a plan comes together.

Very nice, Hannibal!  Sorry to hear about the theft of the Hamilton.  Damn fine watches, they are.

Thanks everyone!

Yah, the Hamilton was nice. Literally the one time we forgot to lock the back doors, someone slipped into the house and stole ipads, macpro, some cash, and my watch that was on the kitchen counter...all while we were all blissfully sleeping upstairs lol

I've been thinking about getting a large dog lately...
