Discount Tire Direct
« on: April 17, 2015, 05:53:05 pm »
I've been using these guys for all of my tires for quite some time now, and I'm never disappointed with their service and prices.  I purchased to rear Hankooks Ventus V12 Evo2s for my S2000 yesterday online.  Got the tracking info this morning with a scheduled delivery date for Tuesday.  Not to mention that the exact same two tires at Tirerack came in at $130 more.  For those in need of tires, I'd highly recommend them.

Still cheaper from them with the exchange rate vs. locally?

Yep.  No one in my area carries these Hankooks in my size and would need to be ordered in.  Cheapest quote I got was just shy of $150 more per pair and I'd have to wait a couple of weeks for them to arrive.  DTD continues to be my go to place for my S2000 tires.

Yep, DTD and Tirerack are my go-to places for getting tires.  Usually they're quite close in price after shipping (DTD offers free shipping while TR does not) so it will depends on the make and model of tire.

Must be painful now with the exchange rate though?
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

I've also used Tiretrends and have been happy with them.  However, they are based out of Vancouver so with shipping they may not be competitive for you guys out further east.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

FWIW, DTD is $1176 USD shipped to your door.......so about $1440 CDN.  Personally, I've yet to find another place cheaper for the Hankooks on my S2000.
